“8 THINGS ONE MUST DO TO PROVIDE MATERIALS FOR BUILDING THE HEAVENLY HOME”
The Bible is clear in John 14: 1-3, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. 2In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.…”
NB: An old businessman who was serving in Church for many years had a sad dream. In this dream, he had died and found himself in an interview with angels seated somewhere in the cold lonely but surrounded by beautiful homes with different names on the doors. He needed to know why there was NO home for him in heaven if John 14 was a true reflection of heaven for those who love God.
His BIG Question; What shall I do on Earth to provide more materials for my home?
The angels replied, “There are 8 things one must do to build up their materials to build their heavenly home. Here we go!!!!!
•The first one is their accumulation of worship and praise to God. Do they thank God and acknowledge Him as God Almighty?
•The second is their Obedience to God’s word. Do they faithfully honor the word?
•Third, time spent reading the Bible.
•Fourth, their time spent praying. Any record of praying?
•Fifth, their time spent Evangelizing / Telling people the goodness of God.
•Sixth, one’s offering to the Lord. How much do they give compared to their personal expenses?
•Seven, their obedient in giving Tithes to God. (Honoring Malachi 3.) Do they know it’s God’s money NOT their money?
•Lastly, their time spent serving God in their Churches in any way or serving the needy honestly.
NB:These are the deeds or works of obedience in which one accumulates materials for their Heavenly home. If one is lacking in these areas, they will have no materials to build their home.”
PRAYER: Heavenly Father in Jesus mighty name, we adore and praise you for your majesty & faithfulness! We honor you because you are God Almighty. LORD, thank you for keeping us safe, keeping our families safe, keeping our worship places safe and keeping Kenya safe in Jesus mighty name.We hide under the precious blood of Jesus that NO plan of the devil will prevail in in Kenya in Jesus mighty name. Above all God, help us to turn from our sinful ways from now on and be led by your spirit according to Galatians 5:16. Merciful God, we give ourselves to you that you control everything about us today and the days to come in Jesus mighty name.AMEN!
